This program conducts case studies of township and range line surveys throughout eastern Arkansas, ranging from the overflows of the Cache River to the remote areas of Crowley's Ridge. We discuss special cases where those lines intersect Spanish land grants as well as cases where the "short-cut method" was used in the original surveys. Tips for their retracement are offered.
Michael Daniels is the owner of Daniels Land Surveying, PLLC in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Michael is a licensed land surveyor in Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee. He is also currently serving his third term as the Craighead County Surveyor.
